Job Summary:

Collaborate with leaders within assigned service line as well as our suppliers to develop multi-year strategic initiatives that leverage system­wide volume. With an emphasis on cost reduction and improving our supply chain management, you will work to optimize the number of vendors and provide supply channels and contracting. You will assist in reviewing vendor affiliate agreements and client contracts to initiate supply cost reduction and strategic sourcing initiatives. This position is also responsible for strategic sourcing/value analysis and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives that deliver savings and enhance the competitive position of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in logistics/sourcing administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with DocuSign.
  • Certificate
  • Utilize software to upload and send documents to team for review
  • Review legal contracts for insurance requests and request COI for customer

Essential Duties

Service Provider Management:

  • Research suppliers and conduct background to determine position in the marketplace and identify opportunities that would benefit the landscape industry.
  • Update and maintain the vendor matrix with details of vendor communications.
  • Provide onboarding packages to all potential suppliers.
  • Provide pricing information to potential service providers for store coverage.
  • Explain the scope of work to potential service providers, which varies by client.
  • Engages suppliers for continuous improvement/optimization opportunities for the landscaping industry, supply chain and products.
  • Develops, educates and provides training to vendors on processes, procedures and systems relating to client portals and procurement.
  • Monitors contract, COI compliance and expiration dates. Develops process to ensure contract renewals and compliance corrective actions where appropriate. Ensures appropriate pricing tiers and discounts
  • Communication and Coordination:

  • Send various emails, proposals, invoices, and snow instructions.
  • Introduce new service providers to Area Managers.
  • Attend meetings with management and service providers to address site management issues and concerns.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss bids with potential service providers.
